Any Parisian can spend hours proudly detailing the intricate designs on the different Parisian bridges over the river Siene. 

From one continent to another

No, I did not embrace Islam - I just loved such these caps  so much that I could not resist myself from buying 4 of them during my 5 day trip to Turkey.

Behind me is the the Bosphorus bridge. I am in Ortakoy which is in the European part of Istanbul. On the other side of the bridge is Uskudar which is in the Asian part of the city. 

The Bosphorus bridge is one of the two bridges connecting Europe to Asia in Turkey (and probably worldwide)

Lonavala

The oldest covered bridge in Europe - Lucerne, Switzerland

Since the city of Lucerne straddles the Reuss River where it drains lake Lucerne, it has a number of bridges. The most famous is the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), a 204 m (670 ft) long wooden bridge originally built in 1333, although much of it had to be replaced after a 1993 fire, allegedly caused by a group of smokers. Partway across, the bridge runs by the octagonal Water Tower (Wasserturm), a fortification from the 13th century. Inside the bridge are a series of paintings from the 17th century depicting events from Luzern's history.

Downriver, between the Kasernenplatz and the Mühlenplatz, the Spreuerbrücke or Mill Bridge zigzags across the Reuss. Constructed in 1408, it is the oldest covered bridge in Europe and features a series of medieval-style 17th Century plague paintings by Kaspar Meglinger titled Dance of Death. It has a small chapel in the middle that was added in 1568.

IIM Calcutta - the land of seven lakes

This photo was taken at 2:30 am on the eve of the StratMan (Strategic Management) end term exam. The blue lines are because of US Dash's camera which was switched on (when he walked past my camera).

(If u r searching for US in the photograph ... well, the exposure was set to 30 seconds and he 'vanished from the scene' immediately after providing the 'special effect'. )

731 Lexington on a cloudy morning. Btw, Bloomberg's New York office is in this building and this is where I did my internship in the summer of 2006 (my seat was in the 15th floor and facing 58th street between Lex and 3rd Avenue)
