The Empire State Building as visible from Union Square

731 Lexington on a cloudy morning. Btw, Bloomberg's New York office is in this building and this is where I did my internship in the summer of 2006 (my seat was in the 15th floor and facing 58th street between Lex and 3rd Avenue)

The same building at night. The top floors with penthouses which house Beyonce Knowles, Johhny Damon and other celebrities make it the tallest residential building on earth.

Funny signs

Kiss and Ride - Do I need to be kissing someone to ride here?? In which case I would want to be with Cameroon Diaz while driving here.

I have been idle all these years... luckily there are no similar rules in India.

Believe me there was definitely no ATM inside this wooden structure :-)

"Do not put any person in this washer" - Just in case you thought that this was an easy way to have a bath...

Drink or Trink ; but it is 'Always Coca Cola'

The difference between ‘ready to blast’ and ‘all clear’ - one whistle

What is an ashtray doing in a no-smoking lavatory? If you think you have an answer, let me inform you that this lavatory was in an aeroplane which is supposed to be non-smoking entirely.

What are these digits?

A high precision watch at the heart of Union Square, New York.

And these digits show the national debt of the US of A (office of the IRS - near Times Square, New York).

How do they know what I am thinking ??

With human beings cleaning dog waste manually, it sometimes make me wonder who is higher up in the evolutionary chain...

Found this on a G subway train at New York

This will be a strange name in India.
Ghamandi = 'Excessive Pride' in Hindi

Most signboards in Switzerland had a lot of people drawn in them ..... probably to denote that the negative effects could harm many people instead of just a few.

And so is this signboard at St. Gallen

There were a set of around 10 such signboards on an almost plain surface..... we laughed at these signboards for quite some time until I almost tripped and fell
